Slam a grandi en jouant de la batterie pour le groupe de soul familial « The Allen Brothers » et plus tard, a appris la guitare de son père et de son oncle.
Aujourd’hui, avec six albums à son actif, Slam Allen sillonne le monde en jouant dans des festivals du monde entier.
Ce musicien et artiste talentueux était le chanteur principal, le guitariste principal et le directeur musical du légendaire James Cotton. « Jouer avec Cotton a été une expérience formidable pour moi ! Il y a des choses qu’il m’a apprises que tu ne peux apprendre d’aucune école. C’était un grand honneur « .
Son expérience au sein de la légendaire Blues Cruise lui a permis de développer un sens aigu du contact avec le public. A raison de 6 concerts par semaine pendant 5 ans il développe cette philosophie qu’il décrit ici : « SI JE PEUX DIVERTIR LES GENS, LES RENDRE HEUREUX ET LES INCITER À RESTER POSITIFS DANS LA VIE, J’AI FAIT MON TRAVAIL ! »

Growing up, Slam played drums for the family soul band “The Allen Brothers” and later on, learned guitar from his Dad, Harrison Allen and his Uncle, Cecil Allen. As he progressed in their eyes, the family knew they had a special talent to nurture! Today, with 6 cd’s to his credit, Slam Allen crisscrosses the globe playing festivals from Argentina to New York, from Italy to Florida, from Switzerland to Chicago, and beyond.
This gifted musician and entertainer was the lead singer, lead guitarist and band leader for the legendary Grammy-nominated James Cotton. « Playing with Cotton was such a great experience for me! There are things I learned from him that you cannot learn from any school. It was a great honor!” says Slam.
In 2010, Slam Allen had the distinction of being chosen by Norwegian Cruise Line for the inaugural launch of the Norwegian Epic, and the official « Fat Cats » house band – the first full-time Blues and Soul artist on a National Cruise Line. With Slam at the helm, the band quickly developed an incredible rapport with guests. People wanted to be entertained six nights a week and Slam delivered his unique brand of entertainment for 5 years!
Today, Slam Allen continues a national and international mission to fill his audiences with joy, happiness, and love. “If I can entertain the people, make them happy and inspire them to stay positive about life, I have done my job!” This is Slam Allen’s message of love to the world!

Slam creció al tocar la batería para la banda de soul familiar “The Allen Brothers” y más tarde, aprendió a tocar la guitarra con su padre y su tío.
Hoy, tras haber grabado seis álbumes, Slam recorre el planeta para actuar en festivales del mundo entero.

Slam os hechiza con una voz que remite a la de Otis Redding, una guitarra que os hunde en B.B. King y una energía escénica que recuerda a James Brown, al captivaros con su propia música original.
